Tourism Innovation Fund

The Tourism Innovation Fund (TIF) provides matched funding assistance (up to £30,000) and tailored innovation and business development advice to enable tourism operators across Scotland to deliver innovative business projects to market.

2Kt Innovation Fund

2kt has the capacity to provide Scottish SME's with funding of up to £5000 through the 2kt Innovation Fund.  This is to support the development of innovative product, process and service ideas. 

Academic expertise at eight of  the east of Scotland's leading universities and colleges can be utilised to help your business develop - at little or no cost to your company including - Adventure tourism, capacity evaluation cultural impact assessment, economic evaluation, e-tourism, festival and events, food & drink, golf and country club management, heritage, hospitality, marketing strategy, service planning, sustainable tourism, visitor attraction and visitor management.

Visit Scotland Growth Fund

The Visit Scotland Growth Fund is designed to support tourism groups throughout Scotland in marketing their product to its maximum potential.  The fund is open to Destination organisations (DO's) and Industry groups.  It can support groups with up to 50% (from £5,000 to £65,000) of their marketing costs to develop and deliver new marketing activity, to help them reach new target markets, increase visitor numbers and create the environment for visitors  to do more, stay longer and spend more.

Tourism Grant LEADER

The Tourism Grant Programme for Small Rural Tourism Businesses  is aimed at helping rural tourism businesses develop in a sustainable way while at the same time levering community benefit. It is intended to improve the tourism offering across the area – sustainable tourism which touches the community. The term sustainable is considered to be development that does not result in progressive and irreparable damage to the environment, and that has beneficial long-term social and economic impacts.

Grants are available up to 50% of eligible development costs up to a maximum of £10,000.
